Detroit City of Champions – Episode 6: “Great Expectations” – The 1935 Detroit Tigers

The fans of Detroit felt quite differently. The incredible rise of the Tigers and the near World Series Championship of 1934 was merely the prologue to something far greater. The hopes of 1934 would become great expectations for 1935.

In today’s episode Jamie and Charles dive into those expectations as well as a little known addition to the team which helped tip the scales of fate towards the team’s championship destiny.
