That’s especially true if you want to stick with them for the long-term. Thankfully, there are a few simple strategies that you can use to build good habits and break bad ones. 1. Start with a habit that is so easy you can’t say no. 2. Take some time to understand exactly what is holding you back. 3. Develop a plan for when you fail. Here are three strategies that might help… 1. Set schedules rather than a deadlines. 2. Forget about performance and focus on building a new identity. 3. Make this your new motto: “Never miss twice.” Slipping up on your habits doesn’t make you a failure. It makes you normal. What separates top performers from everyone else is that they get back on track quickly. Make sure you have a plan for when you fail.
